Glen Echo Group Hires Joey Battley, Katelin Murray and Andrea O’Neal

Washington, D.C., November 8, 2021 — Award-winning creative communications firm Glen Echo Group has added Joey Battley, Katelin Murray and Andrea O'Neal to its rapidly growing team.

Katelin Murray joins the Glen Echo Group as an associate. She previously graduated with a degree in Public Affairs from UCLA and completed a fall fellowship with the firm. “I’m very excited to begin my career in the tech policy space,” Murray said. “I’ve been able to learn so much from my colleagues, and I’m thrilled to keep growing as a public affairs professional with their support and mentorship."

Andrea O'Neal joins the Glen Echo Group as a director. Previously she was Senior Manager, Communications at National Geographic Society, elevating projects and partnerships aimed at expanding scientific discoveries, educating the public on the extinction crisis and conserving some of the planet’s last wild places. Prior to joining National Geographic, O’Neal worked in Burson Cohn & Wolfe’s Public Affairs & Crisis practice, elevating key technology-focused clients and specializing in reputation management. “I am thrilled to return to an agency setting and join Glen Echo Group’s growing team,” O'Neal said. “Technology companies are in a pivotal time. I look forward to supporting both new and existing clients who are making an impact."

Joey Battley joins the Glen Echo Group as an associate. He most recently was a public affairs specialist with MSB Analytics, Inc. “I'm super excited to be a part of the Glen Echo Group staff,” he said. “Coming from government agencies and private sectors as a contractor, it's nice to officially be a full-time company team member.”
